New York Truck Shootout Review! DIESEL Motorsports

The 2nd Annual NY Truck Shootout was held under cloudy cool skies with temperatures in the 60s but pickup truck enthusiasts diesel and gas showed up to compete in three different classes. We also had some great trucks compete in the Show-N-Shine and dyno competition.

The DIESEL Shop sponsored the event and provided many fast trucks tapping into his expanded customer base to bring their trucks. Their company drag truck ran a top speed of 139 mph in the 1/4!

The Show-N-Shine had some great trucks entered by individuals who worked very hard to personalize their trucks. The best Dodge was a young lady who did all of the work herself, a truck anybody would be proud to drive!

There was one truck entered in the sShow_n-Shine that had gone to the dyno before and on the way back the entire side of his 12v blew out in chunks! He even displayed the chunks of engine up on the grille as part of the display! It was the first see through engine displayed in a Show-N-Shine!

The racing was intense with over 50 trucks entered in the ET Bracket that took several rounds of elimination in order to get to the finals. In between the rounds the two monster trucks put on a show that smashed cars and jumped in front of a fun crowd.

DIESEL Motorsports wants to thank "The DIESEL Shop" for helping and hosting the 2n Annual NY Truck Shootout at Empire Dragway in Leicester NY this last Saturday! A little cool weather made for a lot of fast trucks on a great track!
