What's coming up this weekend - Texas!

The 1st National DIESEL ONLY event in the country and the only two day event for diesels in Texas!

Plus a monthly point series for the racers in Texas, 3rd Friday or Saturday every month. Check North Star Dragway's calendar for times and dates.

We have been working with local chapters to build the sport in Texas for over 5 years. Our sponsor's monies have help fund this building of the marketplace for diesel performance in Texas.

The sport is still growing every where in the country and Texas is one of those states where there is a lot of trucks.

Pulling is still pretty fresh down there and we are slowly building the pulling sport in the West.

Many different vendors and manufacturers will be present for the 2 day event so the fans will have a chance to see new technology and diesel performance parts.

A week to start the season - DIESEL Motorsports!

The first diesel event of the year is going to be Texas Spring Diesel Nationals in Denton Texas March 8 and 9th - that's right 2 days of DIESEL ONLY drag racing, dyno, and sled pulling!

We are starting early this year because the new track owner at North Star Dragway and local club ODRA wanted to start a monthly series in Texas with a starting event and year end event to build diesel truck motorsports!

ODRA, Outlaw Diesel Race Association is one of the country's oldest diesel organizations that helped build the sport to what it is today! DIESEL Motorsports has worked with ODRA for over four years in trying to build the sport in the SW states.

Denton, Texas is a perfect location since it is on the rural outskirts of Dallas but yet only 2 hrs from Oklahoma City! Let's face it, the rural population is our customer and fan. That is where we pull the best for interest in diesel pickups and the lifestyle of the country.

While snow is still on the ground in many of our Northern states Texas is warm and sunny. I can tell you I am ready for some sun and warm weather by the first of March!

Texas as a diesel market is still growing which makes it an exciting venue to participate for the weekend. The fans are always friendly and they do love their trucks!

I'll be featuring some items surrounding the Texas market this week!
